Do I need to tell the city that I am renting a dumpster?
No, you won’t need permit if you rent a dumpster and place it on your own property, such as your driveway. If you want to place it on public property, such as your street, some municipalities require a permit, you can find out more about that here.

How much is it to rent a dumpster for a day?
Our rental period includes a full week of dumpster rental included in the price. Take this time to make sure there’s nothing else you want to throw away before we come by to pick up your dumpster. In order to provide you with the best service all our rentals last at least a week so you can get the most bang for your buck.

Great service. We are downsizing dramatically so a dumpster versus multiple trailer loads was the way to go. When I called, the lady that answered walked me through everything from start to finish as well as got me the correct size dumpster based on my needs. Very professional but friendly service. Their website is informative, but the receptionist was amazing. She asked what project I was working on and helped me select the dumpster to meet my needs. They sent the dumpster out the next day. They did an amazing job with communication. Between speaking with the receptionist and receiving the emails, there was no question unanswered. Local Guide to McCalla
Some places struggle defining their identity. That’s never been an issue for McCalla, Alabama. This is a town with a unique history and the signs of its interesting past are everywhere. The town was named after Calvin McCalla, an engineer that was instrumental in the early development of the railway network in the US.
Today McCalla is a place where you can experience many of the things that make America so unique. Tannehill State Park is one of the first places visitors to the region visit. There you’ll find a 19th century blast furnace, the kind of building that was instrumental in helping the railroads reach every corner of the US. The park is also home to The Iron and Steel Museum of Alabama and it’s a great camping spot as well.
For the fan of festivals there are some good ones in McCalla. It’s the site of the annual Southern Appalachian Dulcimer Festival, a stringed instrument that’s unique to the area. You can also attend an archery tournament or take part in a Civil War re-enactment. It’s a great way to learn about a war that was so instrumental in shaping America.
McCalla is just a short drive from Birmingham and everything that the city has to offer. So you’re never too far from some great restaurants, shopping and modern entertainment options. Living in this unique and historical place offers the best of both worlds. It’s a small community with a rich history, but it’s not far from everything that modern life demands.
